Trains, Tunnels and a Child's Imagination

How did the people shrink enough to fit into the trains? This is the question I asked myself as a young child. You see, I thought the trains traveled along side the roads in what I know now are the drainage ditches. The tunnels were the concrete pipes going under the cross street. I must not have seen a real train.
